A Quick Guide

This is a utility site for the factoring part of the Seventeen or Bust (SoB) project. You can read more about factoring for SoB here.

The purpose of this site is to help contributors of the project to prevent waste of CPU time on factoring k+n pairs (candidates) that already have a proven factor. Here you get candidate lists (worktodo.txt) as fresh as possible, usually updated daily.

The worktodo.txt produced by this website is meant to be used with Prime95.exe.

Please keep in mind that this site will not reserve a range for you. You will have to do that manually on the SoB factoring forum. Also, you might have to adjust the B1 and B2 values according to the worktodo-files in the forum.
